Shahr bin Hawshab says that when news of the allegiance to Yazid bin Muawiyah reached us, I came to Syria. I found out about a place where Nauf used to stand and narrate (hadith). I went to him, and meanwhile, when a man arrived, there was a commotion among the people. He was wearing a cloak. When I looked, it was Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him). Upon seeing him, Nauf stopped narrating out of respect for him, and Sayyiduna Abdullah began to say: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Soon after this migration, there will be another migration in which people will gather in the place of migration of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Only the worst people will remain on earth; the earth will throw them out, and Allah will not like them. The fire will gather them together with monkeys and pigs. Then he said: "You narrate hadith, for we have been prevented from it." Nauf said that in the presence of a companion of the Messenger of Allah, and that too a Qurayshi, he cannot narrate hadith. So Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: From the east, a people will emerge. They will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go below their throats. Whenever one generation of them is cut off, another will arise, until finally the Dajjal will emerge from among them."

And the true emigrant is the one who refrains from what Allah has forbidden."
Hadith 6954
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs a thorough bath and sets out early for Jumu'ah, sits near the Imam, listens attentively to his words, and remains silent, for every step he takes, he will receive the reward of a year's standing (in prayer) and fasting."
