Hazrat Ibn Umar struck him with the stick he had until it broke. When Hazrat Hafsa found out, she said to him, "What do you have to do with him? Why are you provoking him? Did you not hear the Prophet (peace be upon him) say that someone will anger the Dajjal and he will emerge in that state of anger?"

" إِنَّ أَوَّلَ خُرُوجِهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ مِنْ غَضْبَةٍ يَغْضَبُهَا " .
It is narrated from Ibn Umar that I met Ibn Sayyad twice. The first time I met him, he was with some of his companions. I said to one of them, "I ask you by Allah, if I ask you something, will you give me the correct answer?" They said, "Yes." I said, "Do you consider him to be the same Dajjal?" They said, "No." I said, "You are lying. By Allah, one of you told me at a time when he had little wealth and children, that he would not die until he had more wealth and children than all of you, and today it is so." Then I left him.
After that, I met him again, and his eye had become damaged. I asked him, "Since when has your eye been damaged?" He said, "I do not know." I said, "It is in your head and you do not know?" He said, "O Ibn Umar, what do you want from me? If Allah wills, He can create an eye even in this stick of yours." Then, in a voice as loud as a donkey's bray, he screamed so loudly that I had never heard anything like it before. My companions thought that I had struck him with the stick I had with me, until it broke, but by Allah, I had no idea.
When Hafsa found out, she said to me, "What do you have to do with him? Why are you provoking him? Did you not hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that someone will anger the Dajjal, and he will emerge in that state of anger?"

Abd al-Wahhab al-Khafaaf narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Nafi‘, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: I met Ibn Sayyad twice, and he mentioned the hadith, except that he said: So I entered upon Hafsa, Mother of the Believers, and informed her. She said: What did you want with him? Do you not know that he said: "Indeed, the first of his emergence among the people will be due to an anger that he becomes angry with?"
