حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ : " يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ إِذَا بَدَا الْفَجْرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Hafsa that at the time of the true dawn, the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform two rak'ahs.
