The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a man to him. He said, "I know what Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intends; he wants to take my garments and not give me my dirhams." She asked, "How should a woman purify herself with it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Subhan Allah! She should purify herself with it. In fact, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant that she should remove the traces of blood with it.
