حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَارِظٍ ، قَالَ : مَرَرْتُ بِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ ، فَقَالَ : أَتَدْرِي مِمَّا أَتَوَضَّأُ ؟ مِنْ أَثْوَارِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهَا ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " تَوَضئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتْ النَّارُ " .
Ibrahim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I passed by Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was performing ablution. Seeing me, he said, "Do you know with what I am performing ablution?" I had eaten some pieces of cheese, and I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "Perform ablution after eating something cooked on fire."
