مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنْ يُتَّخَذَ شَيْءٌ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ غَرَضًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade tying up any living being and using it as a target for shooting.
