مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا

Musnad Ahmad 2220 — Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَشْوَاطٍ بِالْبَيْتِ ، إِذَا انْتَهَى إِلَى الرُّكْنِ الْيَمَانِي مَشَى ، حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الْحَجَرَ ، ثُمَّ يَرْمُلُ ، وَمَشَى أَرْبَعَةَ أَطْوَافٍ " , قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : وَكَانَتْ سُنَّةً .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that while performing Tawaf of the House of Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Ramal in three circuits; he would walk at his normal pace up to the Yemeni Corner, and when he reached the Black Stone, he would begin Ramal, and he performed four circuits at a normal pace, and this is Sunnah.
