وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
And from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Musnad Ahmad 19240 — And from the hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ هُوَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ، وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَبَقَ الْعَبْدُ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ ، فَقَدْ حَلَّ دَمُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When someone flees and joins the enemy, his blood becomes lawful.
