حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي الشَّيْبَانِيَّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys.
