Musnad Ahmad 19126 — The remainder of the hadith of Abdullah ibn Abi
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : الشَّيْبَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى : " رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، يَهُودِيًّا وَيَهُودِيَّةً ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : بَعْدَ نُزُولِ النُّورِ أَوْ قَبْلَهَا ؟ قَالَ : لَا أَدْرِي " .
Shaibani says: I asked Hazrat Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ever give the punishment of stoning to anyone?" He replied, "Yes, to a Jewish man and a Jewish woman." I asked, "Was it after Surah An-Nur was revealed or before?" He replied, "I do not remember that."
