Musnad Ahmad 17433 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، وسُرَيجٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَرَضُونَ وَيَكْفِيكُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، فَلَا يُعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَلْهُوَ بِأَسْهُمِهِ " ، قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ : ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Soon many lands will be conquered before you and Allah Almighty will suffice you, therefore no person should fail to busy himself with his arrows.
