Musnad Ahmad 17385 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " عُهْدَةُ الرَّقِيقِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The responsibility of a slave remains for three (things).
