Musnad Ahmad 17384 — Hadith of Uqbah ibn Amir Al-Juhani
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " عُهْدَةُ الرَّقِيقِ ثَلَاثٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The responsibility of a slave remains for three (days).
