Musnad Ahmad 16599 — Hadith of a man who observed the Prophet
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ الْقَعْقَاعِ ، يُحَدِّثُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي حَنْظَلَةَ ، قَالَ : رَمَقَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي ، وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنِي " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: O Allah! Forgive my sin, grant spaciousness in my home, and bless my provision.
