Musnad Ahmad 16468 — Hadith of Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Asim al-Mazini
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " خَرَجَ ، فَتَوَجَّهَ الْقِبْلَةَ يَدْعُو ، وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ " .
(Marfu' hadith) Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from az-Zuhri, from 'Abbad ibn Tamim, from his uncle, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "went out, faced the qiblah and supplicated, and turned his cloak, then prayed two rak'ahs in which he recited aloud."
