(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : زَوَّجَنِي أَبِي فِي إِمَارَةِ عُثْمَانَ ، فَدَعَا نَفَرًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَجَاءَ صَفْوَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ ، وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " انْهَسُوا اللَّحْمَ نَهْسًا ، فَإِنَّهُ أَهْنَأُ وَأَمْرَأُ ، أَوْ أَشْهَى وَأَمْرَأُ " , قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : الشَّكُّ مِنِّي أَوْ مِنْهُ .
Abdullah bin Harith narrates that during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani, my father arranged my marriage and invited several companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to it. Among them was Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah, who had become extremely old. When he came, he said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Eat meat by tearing it off from camels, for it is more pleasant and easier to digest."
