(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " غَزَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سِتَّ مِرَارٍ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ ، وَكَانَتْ صَلَاةُ الْخَوْفِ فِي السَّنَةِ السَّابِعَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) engaged in jihad six times before the command of the prayer of fear was revealed. The command of the prayer of fear was revealed in the seventh year.
