(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " فِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَالْعُيُونُ الْعُشْرُ ، وَفِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّانِيَةُ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On land irrigated by rain or springs, ‘ushr (one-tenth) is obligatory, and on land irrigated by buckets, half of ‘ushr (one-twentieth) is obligatory.
