(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ كَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ، سَهْلًا إِذَا بَاعَ ، سَهْلًا إِذَا اشْتَرَى ، سَهْلًا إِذَا قَضَى ، سَهْلًا إِذَا اقْتَضَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty forgave a man from the previous nations only because he was gentle in buying and selling, in payment, and in demanding repayment.
