(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ مَنْ لَا أَتَّهِمُهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِلَالٌ يَمْشِيَانِ بِالْبَقِيعِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا بِلَالُ ، هَلْ تَسْمَعُ مَا أَسْمَعُ ؟ قَالَ : لَا وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا أَسْمَعُهُ ، قَالَ : " أَلَا تَسْمَعُ أَهْلَ هَذِهِ الْقُبُورِ يُعَذَّبُونَ ؟ يَعْنِي قُبُورَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that some of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "whom I do not consider suspect," informed me that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Hazrat Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) were walking in Jannat al-Baqi'. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Bilal! As I am hearing, are you also hearing any sound?" He replied, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! By Allah! I am not hearing any sound." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do you not hear that the people of ignorance are being punished in their graves?"
