(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَا يَوْمًا ، ثُمَّ رَقِيَ الْمِنْبَرَ ، فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ قِبَلَ قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " قَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مُنْذُ صَلَّيْتُ لَكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ مُمَثَّلَتَيْنِ فِي قِبَلِ هَذَا الْجِدَارِ ، فَلَمْ أَرَ كَالْيَوْمِ فِي الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ " ، يَقُولُهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led us in prayer, then sat on the pulpit and, pointing towards the Qiblah with his hand, said: O people! In the prayer I led you in today, Paradise and Hell were shown before me, that they were presented before me in this wall. I have never seen a day better or more severe than today.
