(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، وَهَاشِمٌ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ . قَالَ : هَاشِمٌ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ اشْتِمَالِ الصَّمَّاءِ ، وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ الرَّجُلُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wrapping oneself in a single sheet, and that a person should not sit in a single garment in such a way, with his knees drawn up, that nothing covers his private parts.
