(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : افْتَخَرَ أَهْلُ الْإِبِلِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ فِي أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلَاءُ فِي أَهْلِ الْإِبِلِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), some camel owners began to boast about themselves. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Calmness and dignity are found among the owners of goats, and pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels.
