حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قََالَ : " مَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَصِيبًا لَهُ مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ ، عَتَقَ مِنْ مَالِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person has a partnership in a slave and he frees his share, then if he is wealthy, it is his responsibility to free the slave completely.
