حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ , حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ سَالِمٍ , قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ , يَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَشَاهِدٌ يَوْمَ مَاتَ الْحَسَنُ فَذَكَرَ الْقِصَّةَ , فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمَا فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي , وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمَا فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَنِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them): Whoever loves these two, in fact loves me, and whoever harbors enmity towards them, in fact harbors enmity towards me.
