حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ , حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَخْرٍ , أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ أَخْبَرَهُ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ , إِلَّا رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي حَتَّى أَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever anyone sends greetings upon me, Allah returns my soul to me and I personally respond to his greeting.
