حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ , أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ , عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا نَضْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ نَهَارٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِنِصْفِ يَوْمٍ , قَالَ : وَتَلَا : وَإِنَّ يَوْمًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلْفِ سَنَةٍ مِمَّا تَعُدُّونَ سورة الحج آية 47 " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The poor believers will enter Paradise five hundred years before the wealthy Muslims. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And a day with your Lord is as a thousand years of your counting."
