It is narrated from Hasan that he says: May Allah have mercy on the servant who stands firm on his intention and resolve. Because whenever a servant acts, he does so with intention. It is narrated about Hasan that he used to say: The heart of a believer is behind his tongue. So when any of you intends to do something, he should reflect upon it. If it is a matter of goodness, then he should speak about it, and if it is otherwise, then he should remain silent. And the heart of a hypocrite is at the edge of his tongue. So when he intends something, he speaks it out and makes it apparent.
Hadith 37925

It is narrated from Hazrat Qurrah that he says: I heard Hasan say: { ظَہَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِی الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا کَسَبَتْ أَیْدِی النَّاسِ } said: Allah Almighty, because of their sins and because of their evil deeds, caused corruption to spread for them on dry and wet land, so that they might return, that is, so that those who come after them may turn back.
Hadith 37940
It is narrated from Hasan, he says: I have received this information that it is written in one of Allah’s Books: O son of Adam! I have made two things for you, but they are not for you. It is narrated from Hasan, he says: Whoever goes to the graveyard and says: O Allah! O Lord of the decayed bodies! And O Lord of those decayed bones which departed from this world in the state that they believed in You. Bestow upon them mercy and peace from Yourself. Then every believer, from the time of creation until the one who dies, seeks forgiveness for that person.
Hadith 37943
It is narrated from Hasan that he says: Indeed, the believer is watchful over his own self and he holds himself accountable for the sake of God. And on the Day of Resurrection, the reckoning will be easy for those who used to hold themselves accountable in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection, the reckoning will be difficult for those who do not hold themselves accountable. Indeed, when something suddenly comes to a believer, he likes it and says: By God! I desired you, and indeed you are something I need. But by God! There was no connection towards you. And when something is lost from a believer, he turns to himself and says: Did I intend this? What concern do I have with it? I have many others besides it. By God! I will never return to it, God willing. Surely, the people of faith are those whom the Qur'an has made steadfast, and it stands as a barrier between them and their destroyed possessions. The believer is a prisoner in this world, striving to free his neck, and he is not secure from anything until he meets God Almighty. He knows that he is accountable for all of this.
Hadith 37944
Hasan says: A believer in this world is like a traveler who does not desire the honor of the world, nor does he grieve over its humiliation. People have one condition, and he has another condition. Direct these excellences to wherever Allah has directed them, you too direct them in that direction.
Hadith 37945
Hazrat Zakariya says that I heard Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) say: Surely, faith is not the name of adornment and wishful thinking, rather faith is that which settles in the heart and is affirmed by actions.

It is narrated from Hasan that he says: Indeed, for the people of faith, fear is given to them in this world beforehand. Thus, Allah Almighty will keep them in security on the Day of Resurrection. And indeed, the hypocrites have postponed fear from this world. Therefore, Allah Almighty will make them fearful on the Day of Resurrection.

It is narrated from Hasan, he says that the forbearing ones (are such that) if ignorance is shown to them, they do not act foolishly. This is how their day is. And how is their night? The best of nights. They let their tears flow down their cheeks and make rows with their feet. They strive with Allah Almighty to free their necks.
Hadith 37953
It is narrated from Hazrat Asim that he says: I never heard Hasan quoting any poetry as an example, except for this verse: "The only dead is not the one who has died and found comfort; the dead is the one who is dead among the living." Then the narrator said: By God! You have spoken the truth. You were alive, but your heart was dead.

It is narrated from Hasan, he says that when Allah Almighty created Hazrat Adam and his progeny, the angels said: These people will not be able to fit on the earth. Allah Almighty said: I will also create death. The angels said: Then there will be no happiness in their lives. Allah Almighty said: I will create hope.
