٢٨٢٦٦ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام بن حسان عن محمد (بن) (١) واسع عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من ستر أخاه المسلم في الدنيا ستره اللَّه في الآخرة، ومن نفس عن أخيه كربة من كرب الدنيا نفَّسَ اللَّه عنه (كربة) (٢) يوم القيامة، واللَّه في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه" (٣).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever covers the faults of his Muslim brother in this world, Allah, the Lord of Might will cover his faults in the Hereafter. Whoever removes from his brother one of the hardships of this world, Allah, the Lord of Might will remove from him the distresses of the Day of Resurrection. And Allah, the Lord of Might is in the help of the servant who is engaged in helping one of his brothers."
٢٨٢٦٧ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من نفس (١) كربة من كرب الدنيا نفس اللَّه عنه كربة من كرب الآخرة يوم القيامة، ومن ستر مسلمًا ستره اللَّه في الدنيا والآخرة، ومن يسر على معسر يسر اللَّه عليه في الدنيا والآخرة، واللَّه في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه" (٢).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever removes from a Muslim one of the hardships of this world, Allah, the Lord of Might will remove from him one of the distresses of the Hereafter on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever covers the faults of a Muslim, Allah, the Lord of Might will cover his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever makes things easy for someone in hardship, Allah, the Lord of Might will make things easy for him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah is in the help of the servant who is engaged in helping one of his brothers."
٢٨٢٦٨ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن زيد بن وهب قال: أُتي ابن مسعود فقيل له: هذا فلان تقطر لحيته خمرًا، فقال عبد اللَّه: إنا قد نهينا عن التجسس، ولكن إن يظهر لنا منه شيء نأخذه به (١).
Zayd bin Wahb said that someone was seized and brought to Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and he was told: "Wine is dripping from the beard of this so-and-so!" At this, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We have indeed been forbidden from prying. But if something becomes apparent to us, then we will take him to account for it."
٢٨٢٦٩ - حدثنا الثقفي عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة عن أبي إدريس قال: لا يهتك اللَّه ستر عبد في قلبه مثقال ذرة من خير
Abu Qilabah said that Abu Idris said: "Allah Almighty does not tear away the veil of a servant in whose heart there is even an atom's weight of good."
٢٨٢٧٠ - حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام قال: سمعت إسحاق بن عبد اللَّه بن أبي طلحة قال: حدثني شيبة (الخضري) (١) أنه شهد عروة يحدث عمر بن عبد العزيز عن عائشة عن النبي ﷺ قال: "لا يستر اللَّه على عبد في الدنيا إلا ستر عليه في الآخرة" (٢).
The Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Lord of Might does not conceal the faults of a servant in this world but that He will conceal them in the Hereafter."
٢٨٢٧١ - حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن (عبد) (١) الواحد بن قيس عن أبي هريرة قال: من أطفأ عن مؤمن (سيئة) (٢) فكأنما أحيا موؤودة (٣).
Abd al-Wahid bin Qays said that Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever suppresses an evil of a believer, it is as if he has brought back to life a girl who was buried alive."
