١٩٣٩٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه وسليمان بن يسار وحميد بن عبد الرحمن: سمعنا أبا هريرة يقول: سألت عمر عن ⦗٢٥٦⦘ رجل من أهل البحرين طلق امرأته تطليقة أو تطليقتين، فتزوجت ثم إن زوجها طلقها ثم إن الأول تزوجها، على كم هي عنده؟ قال: هي على ما بقي من الطلاق (١).
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about a man from Bahrain who had given his wife one or two divorces. Then that woman married someone else, and her second husband also divorced her. Then the first husband married her again. How many divorces would he have the right to give her? He replied that he would have the right to the remaining number of divorces.
١٩٣٩٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص عن أشعث (و) (١) حجاج عن الحكم عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن أبي (٢) قال: ترجع إليه بما بقي من الطلاق (٣).
Hazrat Abi, may Allah have mercy on him, says that now the right to the remaining divorce will remain with him.
١٩٣٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن عليه عن داود عن الشعبي أن زيادًا سأل عمران بن حصين وشريحًا عن الرجل يطلق امرأته تطليقة أو تطليقتين فتبين فيتزوجها رجل فيطلقها أو يموت عنها (فيتزوجها) (١) الأول، على كم تكون عنده؟ فقال عمران: على ما بقي من الطلاق (٢).
Hazrat Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Ziyad (may Allah have mercy on him) asked Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) about a man who gave his wife one or two divorces, then she became irrevocably separated, and then another man married her and either divorced her or died, and then the first man married her again. How many divorces does he have left with her? Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the remaining divorces, while Hazrat Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: it is a new marriage and new divorces.
١٩٤٠٠ - وقال شريح نكاح: جديد وطلاق جديد.
19400 - And Shurayh said: A new marriage and a new divorce.
١٩٤٠١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص بن غياث عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب قال: كان عمر وأبيُّ وأبو الدرداء ومعاذ يقولون: ترجع إليه على ما بقي (١).
Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Ubayy, Hazrat Abu Darda, and Hazrat Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with them) say that the right to the remaining divorces will remain.
١٩٤٠٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا وكيع وعلي بن (هاشم) (١) عن ابن أبي ليلى عن (مزيدة) (٢) بن جابر عن أبيه عن علي قال: لا يهدم (الزوج) (٣) إلا الثلاث (٤).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that only three divorces terminate the marriage bond.
١٩٤٠٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا غندر عن شعبة عن الحكم عن (مزيدة) (١) بن جابر عن أبيه عن علي قال: على ما بقي (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the right to the remaining divorces will remain.
١٩٤٠٤ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: أخبرنا شعبة عن الحكم عن ابن أبي ليلى عن أبي قال: على ما بقي] (١) (٢).
Hazrat Abi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the right of the remaining divorces will remain.
١٩٤٠٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب قال: قضى عمر ومعاذ وزيد وأبيُّ وعبد اللَّه بن عمر (أنها) (١) على ما بقي من الطلاق (٢).
Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Mu'adh, Hazrat Zaid, Hazrat Ubayy, and Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) say that the right of the remaining divorces will remain.
١٩٤٠٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن سعيد عن أبي هريرة عن عمر قال: على ما بقي من الطلاق (١) (٢).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that she will return with the remaining divorces.
