With What Should the Camel Be Collared?

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tied a necklace of sandals around the camel's neck.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to collect shoes during the year, then he would make a necklace (qaladah) for the camel with them, and if he was unable to do so, he would buy new shoes and put them as a necklace on it.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to put a strap on the sandals.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) tied a collar to the camel with a rope made of palm bark equal to the mouth of a waterskin.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) once tied a necklace to a camel made from a pair of new shoes with straps cut off.

It is narrated in a similar manner from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
