Those who touch the corner and then perform tawaf

After performing two rak‘ahs, Hazrat Abdullah went towards the Black Stone and touched it.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ramal in the first three circuits of tawaf and walked at his normal pace in the remaining four circuits. Then he came to Maqam Ibrahim and recited the verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَ اتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ اِبْرٰھٖمَ مُصَلًّی }, and placed Maqam Ibrahim between himself and the House of Allah (Baytullah) and (offered prayer). Then he came to the Rukn and performed istilam of it.

When Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) had performed two rak‘ahs, he would come to the Black Stone and touch it, or stand facing it, then say the takbeer and proceed towards Safa.

Hazrat Aflah says that I saw Hazrat Qasim, he also used to do the same.

Hazrat Dhahak says that when you come to the House of Allah, first perform Istilam of Hajar Aswad if you are able, and remember Allah and send blessings upon the Holy Prophet. Then perform two rak'ahs at Maqam Ibrahim or as Allah wills (gives you the ability). Then turn your face and perform Istilam of Hajar Aswad, otherwise come in front of it and remember Allah, and then proceed towards Safa.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) would return towards the Black Stone and touch it, then proceed towards Safa.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abu Sarah narrates that I saw Hazrat Salim perform the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House of Allah, then he offered two rak'ahs at the Maqam, then returned to the Black Stone and touched it, and then proceeded towards Safa.

Hazrat Ata says that if you wish, after performing two rak‘ahs, you may return to the Black Stone, and if you wish, you may not return.
