٩٨٢١ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن مطرف عن الشعبي عن مسروق عن عائشة قالت: كان النبي ﷺ يبيت جنبًا فيأتيه بلال يؤذنه بالصلاة، فيقوم فيغتسل، فانظر ⦗٧٤⦘ إلى تحدر الماء من رأسه، ثم يخرج، فأسمع صوته في صلاة الفجر، ثم يظل صائمًا قال مطرف: فقلت لعامر: في رمضان؟ قال: نعم سواء رمضان وغيره (١).
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would spend the night in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah); then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) would come and inform him of the prayer, and he would get up and take a ritual bath (ghusl). I would see the water dripping from his blessed head. Then he would go out, and I would hear his voice in the Fajr prayer. Then he would fast. Mutarrif says: I said to Amir: "Was this in Ramadan?" He said: "Yes, this happened both in Ramadan and outside Ramadan."
