٩١١٣ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة (قال) (١) قال: إن النبي ﷺ كان يرغب في قيام رمضان من غير عزيمة وقال: "إذا دخل رمضان فتحت أبواب الجنة وغلّقت أبواب الجحيم وسلسلت الشَّياطين" (٢).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to encourage standing in prayer at night (qiyam) in Ramadan without making it binding. Once he said: "When the month of Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are put in chains."
