Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5413 — Speaking when the imam has ascended

Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever remains safe from three things during the Jumu'ah prayer, all his sins from this Jumu'ah back to the previous Jumu'ah are forgiven: first, committing an offence (hadath), by which he did not mean impurity from the belly; second, talking; and third, telling someone to be quiet.
