٥٣١٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن طلحة بن يحيى قال: سمعت عمر بن عبد العزيز يقرأ وهو على المنبر ﴿(وَ) (١) أَنِيبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا﴾ [الزمر: ٥٤]، وفي يده عصا.
Talhah bin Yahya said: I heard Umar bin Abd al-Aziz recite this verse on the minbar: "Turn to your Lord and submit yourselves to Him." [al-Zumar: 54] During the khutbah he had a staff in his hand.
