٣٨٢٤٥ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة قال: سمعت ثابتا قال: كنا عند جابر بن زيد فرأى جملا فقال: لو قلت لكم: أني (لا أعبد) (١) هذا (٢) الجمل ما أمنت أن أعبده.
Thabit said: We were with Jabir bin Zayd, and he (may Allah have mercy on him), on seeing a camel, said: If I were to say to you that I will never worship this camel, even then I would not feel safe from worshipping it.
