Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 37607 — The words of Masruq
٣٧٦٠٧ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق قال: بحسب المرء من الجهل أن يعجب بعلمه، وبحسبه من العلم أن يخشى اللَّه.
It is narrated from Masruq that he said: It is enough ignorance for a person that he becomes vain about his knowledge, and it is enough knowledge for a person that he fears Allah.
