٣٦٩٨٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن الأعمش عن مالك بن الحارث عن ابن عباس قال: كان سليمان بن داود (النبي) (١) ﷺ لا يكلم إعظاما له، قال: فلقد فاتته العصر فما أطاق أحد يكلمه (٢).
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Because of the awe and majesty of the Prophet Sulayman bin Dawud (peace be upon them both), (no one) would even speak to him. The narrator said: So much so that (one evening) the Asr prayer passed him by (unawares), yet no one had the courage to speak to him (and inform him).
