Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29721 — A man who throws something

Al-Rabi' bin al-Nu'man reported from his mother that a woman of the tribe of Banu Layth, named Umm Harun, was sitting cutting the meat of her sacrificial animal when suddenly a dog in the house rushed at that meat. The woman threw the knife at it, but she missed, and a son of hers came in the way, and the knife entered his belly and he died. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) paid his blood money from the public treasury.
