Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 22708 — An orphan's property given out

Mujahid said concerning an orphan's wealth: If you put it into trade and earn a profit, the profit is his; if there is a loss, you will be liable; and if it perishes while lying idle, no liability is due.
