٢٠٣٣١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد الأعلى قال: سئل عن رجل قال لامرأته: إن لم أكن دفعت إليك كذاوكذا فأنت طالق ثلاثًا، قال: فحدثنا سعيد عن قتادة أنه قال: إن كانت له بينة، وإلا فقد بانت منه.
Abd al-A'la was asked about a man who said to his wife: "If I have not given you such-and-such, then you are thrice divorced" — what is the ruling? He said: Sa'id reports the saying of Qatadah: If the man has proof (witnesses), then well and good; otherwise she is irrevocably separated from him.
