١٩٧١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا (وكيع قال ثنا) (١) إسماعيل ((بن) (٢) إبراهيم) (٣) عن أبيه عن مجاهد أن ابن الزبير تزوج امرأة فاستزادوه في المهر فحلف أن لا يزيدهم ولا يدخل بها حتى (يكونوا) (٤) هم (الذين) (٥) يطلبون ذلك منه قال: فتركها (سنين) (٦) ثم طلبوا إليه فدخل بها فلم يره إيلاء (٧).
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyiduna Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) married a woman, and the people asked for an increase in the dowry. Sayyiduna Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) swore that he would neither increase the dowry nor consummate the marriage with her until they themselves were the ones asking him for that. Then he left her for some years; then the people requested him, so he consummated the marriage with his wife, and he did not regard it as ila. Waki' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is also the view of Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him), and this is our opinion too.
