١٨٢١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا الأعمش قال: سمعت مجاهدا قال: استبطأ رسول اللَّه ﷺ جبرائيل، فقال: وكيف نأتيكم وأنتم لا تقصون أظفاركم، ولا تنقون براجمكم، ولا تستاكون (١).
Mujahid said: Once Jibril delayed in coming to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he came, he said: "How can we come to people who do not trim their nails, do not clean their finger joints, and do not use the miswak?!"
