١١٧١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (ثنا) (١) يعلى بن عبيد عن موسى الجهني قال: سألت الحكم والشعبي وعطاء (ومجاهدًا) (٢): (أفي) (٣) الصلاة على الميت شيء موقت؟ فقالوا: لا، إنما أنت شفيع، فاشفع بأحسن ما تعلم.
Musa al-Juhani says: I asked al-Hakam, al-Sha'bi, Ata and Mujahid whether there is a specific supplication for the funeral prayer. They all said: No. You are only an intercessor for him, so make the best intercession you know.
