Mukhtasar Bukhari (Abridged) 2165 — Amount of theft for which the hand

Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had the hand cut off for stealing a shield whose price was three dirhams.
