Mukhtasar Bukhari (Abridged) 2164 — Amount of theft for which the hand

Narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the hand of a thief was not cut off for stealing less than the price of a shield or armor (and each of these items is of value).
