حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ: «أَنَّ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَرَضَ فِي نِسَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ فِي أَلْفِ أَلْفٍ مِنْهُنَّ أُمُّ عَبْدٍ»
Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrated: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) fixed a stipend of one thousand (dirhams) each for the Muhajir women, and among them was Umm Abd (may Allah be pleased with her).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ: «أَنَّهُ انْتَظَرَ أُمَّ عَبْدٍ حَتَّى صَلَّتْ عَلَى عُتْبَةَ»
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he kept waiting for Umm Abd (may Allah be pleased with her) until she had offered the funeral prayer over Utbah.
