حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ كَعْبٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ رَدِيفَ أَبِيهَا، فَسَمِعَتْ أَبَاهَا يَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَأَنْحَرَنَّ بِبُوَانَةَ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ بِهَا وَثَنٌ أَوْ طَاغِيَةٌ يُعْبَدُ، قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: أَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ حَيْثُ نَذَرْتَ "
Sayyidah Maymunah bint Kardam (may Allah be pleased with her) said that she was riding behind her father, and she heard her father asking the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): I vowed that I would sacrifice (animals) at Buwanah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is there an idol or a false deity worshipped there?" He said: No. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then fulfil your vow where you vowed."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، وَالْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ الْيَسَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّ أَبَاهَا، لَقِيَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ رَدِيفَةٌ لَهُ فَسَأَلَهُ، فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ بِبُوَانَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «هَلْ بِهَا وَثَنٌ؟» ، قَالَ لَهُ: لَا. قَالَ: «فَأَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ حَيْثُ نَذَرْتَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Maymunah bint Kardam (may Allah be pleased with her) that her father met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while she was riding behind him, and he asked him (peace and blessings be upon him): I vowed that I would sacrifice at Buwanah. the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is there an idol there?" He said: No. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then fulfil your vow where you vowed."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ الشمرِيُّ، ثنا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ ضَبَّةَ الطَّائِفِيُّ، حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي سَارَةُ بِنْتُ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ كَرْدَمٍ، قَالَتْ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَانَتْ أُصْبُعُهُ الَّتِي تَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ لَهَا فَصْلٌ فِي الطُّوَلِ عَلَى الْإِبْهَامِ، يَعْنِي مِنَ الرِّجْلِ»
Sayyidah Maymunah bint Kardam (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the toe of his foot next to the big toe was somewhat longer than the big toe.
