Yusuf bin Mahak relates that he went to Sayyidah Umm Hani bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) and asked her about the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. She said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) came at the time of Duha (the forenoon), and we poured water for him (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dish of ours; I could see a trace of dough in it. (Yusuf said: I do not remember which of the two she told me, whether he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution or took a bath.) Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed four rak'ahs in this place of prayer, meaning the prayer place in her house.
